To find the perfect wig, it's important to determine what length you want. So here are some tips to help you choose.

Determine your ideal length

Our weaves range from 10 to 28 inches (26 to 71 cm). So there are a number of lengths to choose from, ranging from shoulders (10-12 inches) to lower back (24-28 inches). To determine where exactly each strand will fall, you can use a tape measure with the end at the top of your head. Let it fall naturally and note the extent to which you want your hair to come out. Perform the same operation starting from the top of your ear (to know where your hair will fall on the sides) and the base of your skull (to know where your hair will fall at the back). You can also use wicks of different lengths to create a layered effect: this will be more practical than cutting your weave.

Tip: Seek advice from a hairdressing professional who will be able to advise you according to your morphology and your needs.

Check the length of the bits

A strand is measured from the seam to the tip. Note that a weave is measured flat: if you opt for a wavy or curly weave, it will appear shorter (2 to 5 cm less) than a straight weave.

Tip: To get the most natural effect possible choose strands 5 to 10 cm longer than your natural hair (or the same length if you just want to gain volume).
